Has my daughter just had a CVA Attack

My daughter has just been diagnosed with CVA and I'm not sure if she has just had what would be considered an attack. She was queuing for the ice cream van having just got to the park and started to have a coughing fit, she vomited a little before I could give her the inhailor, 2 puffs later she seemed fine, she ate her ice cream and went to play, 15 minutes later she had another coughing fit, she vomited a lot before I could finally give her the inhailor which took 5 puffs 30-60 seconds apart to stop the coughing fit. She said she was fine and wanted to go and play again, 10 minutes later she had another coughing fit which took 8 puffs to control. She was fine after and wanted to go and play again. Is she just resilliant being a 3 year old who's sole goal in life is to play or was this not an attack?

Hi Siennas_Mummy

It might be helpful to give the Asthma UK nurses a call on 0300 222 5800 (M-F, 9-5) or you can WhatsApp chat them on 07378 606 728 to chat it through.

Hope that helps,

Dita
