Its time ... we need a proper UK assessment.

I have a wonderful son called Lucas. Its terrible to see him suffer.

He has a number of triggers that are predictable and on occasion asthma that I cant pin down to anything. I can work on the usual suspects but .. the others ... :(

It makes complete sense to try to collate data from asthma sufferers through an existing system, like the doctors.....? Ive never heard of a doctor doing this .. which makes no sense.

All you need is the location of the issuing of the steroid tablets due to asthma and the date, then work with that data for a month or two to see if there is any common denominators. No personnal info necessary.

The only worry is that the doctors might not like a member of the public finding out what they should have, but cant due to lack of finance and red tape, therefore holding up the way?

I used to do this with scientific data, and cross reference it. Found out interesting things.

Nobody can deny that this could help, and can do no harm trying.

Ant ideas for a direct approach to the answer? oh and anyone heard about a link to long period microwave radiation exposure affecting the immune system response?

All the best gentle persons

Re microwave radiation. Take it you mean phone masts?

Can understand your frustration at your son's asthma and lack of obvious triggers.

Why not get in touch with AsthmaUK research and ask what they think of your idea?

I think it would be great idea. I still don't know what my son's trIgger's are other than the main one weather. We had a day in the house yesterday because of rain and he had a terrible day with his asthma. And then today the weather was lovely and he has had the best day ever. Was loving playing american football with his dad, sister and baby brother which was lovely to see. Tomorrow is a new day and again we don't know what type fo day we are going ot have with him
