re asthma and blood pressure

could anyone inform me if raised blood and asthma are connected or are they two separate issues.

I have both asthma and high blood pressure..have never heard any of the medical fraternity state that they are connected...but know for a fact that my blood pressure has risen when I have been hospitalised due to asthma attacks

im not sure. i know b lood pressure rises during an attack but pther than that dont know of any connection.
