I wonder what opinion is regarding the best vacuum cleaner with the best filtered air outlet for us who have dust as our major trigger?

Dear Bry,

Sorry I dont have a very specific response but I d tend to think perhaps a cleaner which utilizes a HEPA filter would be a good idea. Hope you and May and well. Best wishes to you and yours for the New Year :)

Hello Jasmine,

I hope you are feeling well now. I was just reading about my cleaner brand, Miele, we have the Cat & Dog model, but no longer have a dog! (Could ask neighbour to bring his dog round to justify using it...lol)

Miele have what seems an excellent anti-allergy machine but they are so expensive. It would be nice to find an British made machine. I suppose though to be realistic, the one we have is pretty good really.

Little May seems to be keeping my cold away all right, whilst I am slowly recovering. It's that dreadful cough isn't it, seems to rip one's chest to pieces!

Perhaps we should look for a Lung-Gunge extraction vacuum cleaner.... Uuuurgh, what a thought!

Dear Bry,

Thank you for you response :) I am feeling ok enough to avoid nebs, just having an awful lot of blue to regain some semblance of control ( beginning to question if I ever had it in the first place)> I am sorry to hear you have such a terrible cough, I do hope you can find some relief from it soon. I think its rather lovely the way you and May take care of each other, quite beautiful and always brings a smile to my face. Hope you have a pleasant night.

Hi Bry, there was a long thread on vacuum cleaners about a year ago. We've had Dysons for about 8 yrs and think they are great. Downside is they are expensive.

Hi Bry,

I have a Sebo vacuum cleaner and it's very good but they are expensive

clean your home, don't just recycle

Your problem is using a machine with filters

Filters get clogged up and become useless

The only home cleaning machine in the world is the Rainbow

It is certified asthma and allergy friendly

Bry, I love my Dyson but if I were to look for a new machine I'd go to the Allergy Uk website and look at their recommendations. I did this when looking for an air purifier last year, when my coughing was torture. Having looked at their recommendations I shopped around and got a product that does exactly what I need at an acceptable price.
