I thought I was going to have one week where I wasn't at the Doctors! But I have just spoken to my cons secretary (not my chest cons another one) who was supposed to be referring me to the Chest Cons, to be told that my GP has to do it cos of money. So I now have to see my GP on Thursday morning because the receptionist wouldn't just ask him to do it!!!!

yea it is stupid Meady. Why couldn't she tell him to look at my consultants letter which said about him having sent me for chest x-ray etc, and speak to my asthma nurse and do the referral - what I'm cross about is that if I'd known this last week I could have asked him then!
