Preventer - time of day

Clenil Modulite 100. Have to take this inhaler twice a day. I know there should be 12 hours between each dose.

What is the best time of day to take it. I've been doing 12 noon and 12 midnight.

8 am ish and 8 pm ish??????

I sometimes end up with 11 hrs or 13 hrs but don't wory about a slight difference.

I use Seretide and Flixotide.

Kate

Thanks Kate. That's what the family say - 8 to 8-ish As usual, I was making up my own rules. I'm new to all this.

Just back from recycling a ton of paper, bottles, cans etc. Feeling more than a little out of puff. Perhaps If I'd taken my preventer at 8 this morning, instead of at noon, I'd feel better. I'm reminded of a saying of my Grandpa's - Its daft dugs that bite themselves. LOL

I take mine at 8am and 8pm - it fits well into my normal routine plus it means I'm taking the evening dose at the same time as my other meds and it's easier to remember one time than lots of times.

I usually take mine at 7am amd7pm, except the evening dose does get taken earlier when i leave to go swimming.

8am and 8pm are when I take all mine! I do sometimes have to set my alarm to wake me up though!

Guess the answer is morning and evening, then.

Last review, my asthma nurse suggested I try one puff twice a day. So I reckon I can gradually change the time to 8 am. Filling in with reliever if required.

Alarm clock not necessary for the morning - the cats 'hint' that breakfast should be forthcoming. LOL

I take mine anywhere between 8am and 12pm, and 10pm and 12am. Just depends when I roll out of/back into bed

I take mine at about 7am (about 9am on weekends) and then about 10pm is that leaving too much/too little time between each dose?

otter, that may be fine, i use to do the same. do you notice much variation in your PF reading on the weekends, or lower reading during the week in the evening would be expected if it was too long.
