omg something very depressive - im going to be 41 soon and even worse i have a 19year old! sad or what!!! where did the last 10years go-and if you have them or know where they are let me know cos i want them back ok x

We can feel sorry for each other, I am 40 in a couple of weeks and its a case of birthday whats one of them never heard of it lol. Thankfully my eldest is 16 but yes I do still feel old lol.

Im 45 and got a son 22 and a son 15.

my 22 year old lives with his gf now and for last year,

felt sad when he went but so happy to see him getting on in life and

so happy and in love.

My 15 yer old has a gf and been with here a few months,

god it makes me feel old thinking back to my courting days.xxx

Well I'm 52 with 13 yr old son! I thought I'd really be upset about turning 50, but it was fine. Had a lovely party with my family, a dinner out with close friends and 2 more pub lunches with other friends. Decided to take up painting lessons as I'd always wanted to paint (didnt turn out to be very good but I enjoyed it!) and found a new job, all within a few months of turning 50. So don't be upset, you never know what's round the corner!

Turning 47 was a struggle recently - realised that the big Five OHHH is not so far away. My 12 year old happily tells me ""Mum you are sooo old!"" Sigh, at least I still have my own teeth

at least those replies added a few more laughter lines to my face lol. it was bad enough turning 40, which incidently i thought was going to be fine-after all its just a birthday-but i was distraught-seriously lol so god knows what il be like when i turn 41, didnt want to celebrate and spent the night eating choc in bed lol....my teens were spent partying, my 20's were spent mothering and occassionally partying and my 30's were spent trying to keep up with my daughter as i was in a kind of health induced depression mixed with guilt at feeling so knackered all of the time. going into my 40's i hoped that i would feel better but im constantly off health wise and going out causes problems with my asthma and other health issues, but im making even more of an effort to get sorted as life is going by very fast. although i must admit when i do turn 41 i think i might still find a good film to watch and eat choccie in bed again lol
