I like the idea of a new set of lungs - and of course when you go to Costa/jail you can't collect them! Is 'just visiting' literally 'just visiting someone else'? Or 'passing through but not being admitted'?

Also, what's Park Lane and Mayfair now? And Old Kent Rd?

Instead of building houses and hotels on properties in the game we should be building asthma clinics and hospitals.

chance: how long in days you have to wait for an ""urgent"" appointment with your asthma nurse, roll a single dice, result is days to wait.

Chance: Your referral has been messed up. Go back 12 spaces and miss 2 turns to call your GP's and consultant's secretaries and spend half an hour on hold with the appointments dept at the hospital.

How about some chance and community chest cards which include something about the cost of prescriptions!

How about a card 'visit your GP/OOH, but they can't hear a wheeze, miss a turn while you explain that you DONT wheeze or have a low PF!'

Instead of having the utility companies, one could be a walk-in centre and the other a chemist

maybe speciality hospitals like RBH? or asthma advice support, i.e. asthma uk helpline, asthma nurse, respiratory nurse etc.

Islandmedic, I wondered about that. I can't remember how many 'dark blue' properties there are but they could be the tertiary places like RBH and Heartlands. (I'd like to propose my local as the Old Kent Road lol).

Another Chance: 'You're told it's all in your head. Miss a turn to a) bang your head against a wall until you're in danger of actually having a problem with it and b) successfully persuade someone that your lungs aren't in your head. No access to spaces with hotels for three turns.'

maybe stations are investigation e.g pf.....

chance- Read bts/sign guidelines and get gp to perscride apropratly collect £100.

This is just inspired! Maybe have spoons instead of money - pass go, collect 100 spoons. Chance cards that say 'take a long walk, pay 5 spoons'. There's scope for everything here. Islandmedic, you're a genius!

I love the spoons idea!

I just hope we'd all be better at playing this than my family and friends. My family never managed to finish a game - it always descended into anarchy and someone robbing the bank. My friends were a bit better but last time, when we were on holiday together, one of them hit on the strategy of building hotels all over the place then trying to spend the rest of the game in jail so as to avoid paying anyone for landing on their houses/hotels while collecting the goods every time someone landed on hers! Not the best strategy for Asthma Monopoly I feel

Wow you have a board! Could you have different inhaler devices for the playing pieces?

For some rather strange reasons I would like Mayfair to be the RBH (they are: I have an appointment there in May. Bendicks chocolate mints, which I love, are associated with Mayfair - they used to be 'Bendicks of Mayfair'. Therefore, I would like to think of the RBH on some level as a purveyor of chocolate mints, rather than as a slightly scary place full of people asking me questions I can't answer properly without sounding like a head case and making me do loads of lung function tests. lol)
