When it's over! The smoke from the bonfires and fireworks upsets my lungs and I have always been terrified of the fireworks. My first memory of them is as a very small child when my father lit a 'Jumping Jack' which sat on the ground fizzing menacingly before emitting a loud BANG and jumping sideways about 4 feet and doing the whole thing again. And again and again and again. It didn't matter where I went, the blasted thing followed me! I never got over it and although I let off fireworks for my own kids when they were young, it was through a haze of absolute terror. What a wuss!
