Todays Freeview digital re-tune !!

Our town was the very first in the whole of the UK to have its analogue transmitters completely switched off-we didnt receive the full Freeview package and now, thanks to the latest ""upgrade"" we have also lost ITV 2& 3 !

Anyone else in a similar situation?-there was no indication that these stations would be lost.

Apparently, now the retune has taken place, 500,000 people who couldn't get Five can now get it. The downside is that 400,000 people have now lost ITV2 and ITV3. You are not alone!

Weird they were wibbling down here we were the 1st to have analogue totally switched off. Not looked for ITV2 or 3 cos OH is a sleep and has the remote control in his hand and I think it looks sweet.

I am still blissfully trundling along in analogue!

Slight apologies;it was ITV 3&4 we lost and they gave us ITV2 +1 in ""compensation"" (??)-its because we are fed from a Relay transmitter apparently-but I,ve no doubt its because we are out in the sticks and not a big conurbation.

Re-tune

We thought we'd lost channels too. They are there, but around 800, 801.

So really we still have them just in the wrong order.

I think - but don't take as gospel - we re-tuned, saved, then re-tuned and hey presto!

Unfortunately,I tried all the channels,we have deffo lost them-thanks Freeview for that ""improved service"" !!!!

I still have all my channels :)

I have all my channels, but ITV2 seems to be a weird one, Moved slots, but the old channel is still listed and my box is giving program guide data for it. When we had the switch over from the stockland hill transmitter, the guide data for the week was very patchy for a month. Wonder how many more times we'll have to do this before they get it right.

This is our 4th retune up here in Cumbria,we figured by now that we would be getting 5US,Fiver ,Film 4 etc but it seems our ""reward"" for being the ""testing ground"" for the analogue signals switch off is that we are going to have the smeggiest Freeview service in the UK !!

we'll I remember when OnDigital started, there was a piece in the local papers saying that we would not get it as stockland hill was not ready, how wrong it was, I'd been watching it for two weeks.Who thinks they've missed out something with this, and should have lumped all the shopping channels in one group at the end of the list.
