When doing posts on here I keep doing then as if im texting on my mobile,

like r u ok c u soon lots of luv and so on then end up deleating it or editing it

back to normal. pain in the ass!!!!

Its just you. Just kidding, I'm sure its not. My sis-in-law is the worst at text messages. She can't understand that there are well known short forms for texting. Very hard to work out what her messages meant. Thats the one silver lining to her falling out with us four years ago - we don't have her completely illegible texting anymore.

I don't use 'text speak' at all, even in text messages - I'm such a nerd!

I don't use text speak either very much, but on here I do have a tendency to go into 'telegram' mode and leave pronouns out - not sure why!

As for editing - every time! Whenever I see my post I always think of a better way of putting something - partly the job getting the better of me, and partly because it's easy on a public message board to say something that comes across the wrong way and I worry about that.

no matter how i type i never get the words right that i want so mine is very random how a word comes out on screen

I don't do text speak, even when I text. I blame my job. I do find I've gone into 'telegram' mode and left out odd words here and there. No idea why I do that.

hehe Annista, a fellow 'telegrapher'. I do wonder why we do that - I tend to do it more writing things on my iPad (I'm much less rambly and long-winded and more abrupt on there) but I know that's because I don't like typing on it, it's a bit annoying using the touchscreen keyboard.
