just checked that out and it was brill, then again, i have been subject to some pretty interesting cake disasters, one of which meant I had to bath the dog before my parents came back and saw the goo on his head

Oh crumbs! Foster cat kept nicking off with fairy-cakes on baking days. Would eat them very delicately, leaving just the paper case.

I've had at least two cake wrecks. One involved a birthday cake iced in light blue - unfortunately I was a bit heavy handed with the colouring and it ended up a strange dark blue. As long as you kept your eyes closed, it tasted fine.

Second cake wreck - one Xmas Eve, I got out packet of roll-out icing to decorate my square Xmas Cake. Too late I found I'd picked up the wrong packet in the mad dash through Sainsbury's. I'd bought a pack of coloured roll-out icing in Bright Red and Bright Yellow. D'oh!

Lightbulb moment! Wrapped the cake like a parcel in the red icing then used the yellow as a ribbon and bow. Looked a bit odd and like the aforementioned birthday cake, fine if you shut your eyes. LOL

Not what you're looking for?
