I'm thinking of starting open university courses to top up my nursing diploma as I can't manage going into college and working full time anymore. Would be good to hear from anyone who already does courses this way as I'm worried that I won't be able to get work in on time if am ill etc. Any advice greatfully received!
Thanks
Sarah

Its been a few years since I did an OU course but the techers were usually fairly flexible with handing in coursework ""on time""-I suspect it may help if you make them fully aware of your asthma problems beforehand-and good luck!!
hi
i was one of those people who used to work for the OU ( in their early days). Back then they were amazingly sympathetic and helpful towards anyone with any kind of health problem. Why not contact your local area office of the OU and talk to them about it. If they know what your problems are i'm sure they would do everything they can to help (or they would do in my day.)
