Smoothies? Not exactly edible but nice and hopefully soothing.

Sounds nasty, massive sympathy.

Sorbet, Jelly, yoghurts, Custard, wheat-a-bix, toast dunked in tea, milkshakes (home made of course) erm...thats all I can think of at the moment!

Thanks so far today I managed a few bites of a banana for brekie and some homemade leek and potato soup for lunch. And just had a yoghurt

Smoothies sound a good idea I could make them !

Custard for dinner I reckon Charlie ! Yuck do t like tea so I'll pass that one !!

Im not sure if what I'm calling tennis balls are glands/tonsils or what defo a visit to drs tomorrow ! :( forgot what this was like !! X

:( Know the feeling having had an odd sore throat for ages and now know it's reflux. Have you tried gargling something like soluble paracetamol/lemsip befere eating or an anaesthetic throat spray/lozenges? As you say, try soft foods like soup but also cottage pie etc as long as not too salty etc

Hope you;re feeling better soon

Thanks tj I'm pretty sure tonsills or similar from prior events

Ah right no to soluble paracetamol last time I had that it made me Ill

I brought some strepsils but supermarket own with anaesthetic in but they just seem to numb mouth and tounge !

Soft food diet is of course lovely i did manage a bit of soft pasta but not alot :(

I wish they'd of just taken the silly things out :(

Thanks all

Hya,

Dont know if it is reflux related, i tend to get really bad reflux if i need to use a neb or two.

Im taking 30mg of lanzoprazole twice a day and it seems to help by cutting down the reflux.
