can any one confirm

could clenil cause a rash around a toddlers mouth my 2 1/2 year old has developed a rash around her mouth she had been using the clenil 50mg one puff twice daily. the docs uped it to 2puffs twice a day about 2 months ago, the rash only appeared about a week or so ago.

i only ask because we seem to of ruled out everything else.

my son uses clenil 2 puffs am n pm via spacer. i was informed to always brush teeth after using n wash face especially mouth area as clenil can cause thrush. hope this helps x

we do the teeth brushing thing because of the thrush, hadnt been told about washing her face to, will have to change the routine a little to washing her face before (to get rid of food lol) and after her inhaler, it will please her no end not she hate being clean bless her.

really must find a GPs with a proper asthma clinic cause we dont have one at our surgery.

it easier when they no longer need the mask on the spacer as the clenil stays in the mouth rather than around it. hope it clears up soon x
