Prob wont treat him

So im told yesterday that because Jimmy is only 1 the asthma specialist prob wont treat him as an asthmatic lol what a joke !

Can remember when my son was realy small about 6 months old ,he started with breathing

problems and they just said he was a wheezy baby and gave him salbutamol liquid form and

also steroids.

He did get better as he grew up and airways bigger but that was 21 years ago.

Hope Jimmy gets everything he needs to help him and treat him for asthma,would like

to think meds have moved on alot fron 21 years ago.

If your GP won't refer Jimmy to a lung consultant, ask him to refer Jimmy to a Consultant Paediatrician. I asked for a referral when son was about 6 and he still sees the same paediatrician 7 years on. He's not an expert on lung problems, but he looks at the whole picture and has been excellent.
