When does a cyst become important

I have been unwell for around 8 weeks, feeling full, sickly, pain in abdo and back, sore boots, doctor sent me for ultrasound, heard today there is a cyst on my ovaries, I'm 52 and menopausal, doctor didn't seem concerned , she said the blood test c125 came back normal but I'm sure ti read that a normal blood test doesn't always indicate ovarian cancer. When does finding a cyst become a priority, I know ovarian cancer is often missed and put down to other symptons? I'm a bit concerned 😟 😕

It’s reassuring that the blood test has come back as normal - this along with the ultrasound picture is the reason why your doctor isn’t concerned. It is very normal to see cysts on the ovaries . The ultrasound will show what the cyst looks like - cancerous cysts have a different appearance to benign (non- cancerous) ones.
