Sorry to hear that, l have Ankolosing Spondylitis and total spinal fusion, this took from age 15 to 40, the worst for me is having no neck movement, presume you have a specialist, these days there are lots of new treatments, l didn't have much chicest l wish you good luck, we are out there with support

I have Osteoarthritis in my neck and this effects both and hands. They can operate but more than likely paralyse the top of my body. I just hope it doesn't get that bad.

Hello can I ask if wear and tear in the cervical spine is arthritis ? I have googled this and it comes up as spondylosis / osteoarthritis, I'm only asking coz my X-ray showed wear and tear and the receptionist told me it's normal at my age, I have been to an from the go for about 3 years over this particular area and they kept sending me to physio and then last week sent me to have an X-ray and as I had to ring for my result and this was what the receptionist told me so I'm unsure if to just leave it be and suffer all the problems that have come with this although I'm waiting also to see the musculoskeletal team as well, I just wondered if this sounds familiar with this .... coz there seems to be the same as what's going on with me thank you in advance xx

Wear and tear happens to alot I people as they become older. I have osteoarthritis in my neck which has caused stenosis. Basically trapped nerves. What have your symptoms been?
