Several times over the last 3 months usually first thing in the morning my back locks and I have limited movement for at least 20 minutes until pain killers kick in. The last couple of weeks the pain has changed and now I have a continuous pain under my right shoulder blade sometimes it is so bad it hurts to breath. I am not ill and have no health issues.

Sorry, but this sounds like a health issue to me. Have you been diagnosed with any type of arthritis? If not, you need to see your GP and ask for a referral to a rheumatologist. If you are in that much pain it needs addressing. x
