Reduced ejection fraction & Atrial Fibrillation concerns

Hello,

I'm not sure about my latest echocardiogram results showing reduced ejection fraction. But due to being in persistent AF and high heart rate, my letter states actual percentage difficult to note.

Prior to this I've had different symptoms to normal AF but I've been ignoring them. I get breathless at basic walking and is worse on a incline or stairs. To the point my legs will start to go from under me and I feel like I will pass out. I've also got a what I would call a on/off dry cough. I can't hold my breath without after 3-5 seconds having to cough. ( I don't have the Carona virus as I've been like this for several months.

I also struggle with fatigue, and at times palpations, chest pain ( not intense) and pain down my right jaw line, neck and across shoulder.

Is having reduced ejection fraction, Atrial Fibrillation and symptoms likely to be classed as heart failure?

Sorry if silly question but I can't get hold of Gp and have no appointment yet to see cardiologist for follow up. Obviously due to current Covid-19.

I also have a low ejection fraction and AF both which were not known to me. I was hospitalised with acute breathing difficulties.

I am now on a treatment regime and the change is quite noticeable.I am on beta blockers;blood thinners and water tablets. It is most important that you try for an appointment as the GPs are now operating a telephone or video appointmenmts.
