After a trip to Europe(9hours) I experienced intense light headiness. It was kind of scary since it felt like I had gone into arrhythmia however I did not have my Kardio (E-May) to know if it was an arrhythmia. Same thing occurred on the flight back; no Arrhythmia( I checked) just a low pulse rate and dizziness and again extreme light-headiness. Anyone have this similar issue with trans-Atlantic flights?

Post Flight light-headiness.
Hi
I have just returned from a holiday and so I am currently catching up reading all of the posts which have been put on this site while I was away. Although I haven’t experienced the problems associated with flying that you describe the reason I am replying to you is because I have just read a post that seems to address the issues you raised. It was posted 2 days ago by Borderstories1 under the heading ‘Flying and Afib - terrible experience’. If you are able to locate the post you may find it of interest. One thing they put that I was unaware of is that there is 20% less oxygen available when flying which can lead to on-board hypoxia, which will make the heart work harder. Their post reminded me of yours and got me wondering whether this was what you experienced.
