Hi Lavender123, I hope you've enjoyed the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend. It's great to hear you've had a lovely time! I think we all deserve to be spoiled & pampered now & then. It's funny how chores bring you back down to earth so quickly, I guess they keep it all balanced though - personally I can do without chores! Lol. I can't imagine having a 27yr old son, my boy is 6 & growing so fast but 27 still seems so far away - I know it'll creep up fast when I'm not looking though! I think it's lovely your eldest lives opposite, aaw, I'd like that. My 6yr old says he's going to live next door when he moves out, lol. I hope that's not just to be fed & get his washing done still! :-) Take care x

Hi Lavender123, I just came to reply to your comment about starting your own business but I can't find it now - doh! Anyway I was giving it some thought & can't offer any advice but I'd say do lots of research first, gather as much info as poss & speak to people who are already doing what you want to do & see how they started. If you google 'starting your own small business' there're loads of sites with lots of useful info. What is it you're thinking of doing? I think it's great to have a goal & if it doesn't happen now, there's always time in the future.

How are you getting on back at work now? I guess it's still early days for you being back - I remember those first few weeks being really tough! How's the menopause medication making you feel? (hope you don't mind me mentioning it, you mentioned it in another thread). I'm not there yet but I wish there was more information available about how that time will affect us & our hormones etc. Have a nice evening & take care loads x

Hi ladies,

Lavender123 it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend :). Andrea just to comment on your thread with regards to the menopause? Do you think it will affect us more than other women? xx

I don't know Louloubexs, I guess it has the potential to & it's a question I asked my consultant, who said in my case it wouldn't affect me. My mum seems to think it's a time to take it v carefully though (she's even prompted my sister to keep a close eye on me at that time!) It's something I definitely want to find more about. x
