Hello all,

APP are involved in the PP Awareness Day gathering on Zoom this Friday 5th May, with the American organisation Cherished Mom. Please see below for information! We really hope to seem some of you there. APP will be co-hosting sessions 2 and 3.

We invite those with lived experience of pregnancy or postpartum psychosis*, and their loved ones, to attend one of our upcoming Virtual PPP Community Gatherings.

We've partnered with Action on Postpartum Psychosis (UK) and COPE (Centre For Perinatal Excellence) (Australia) to offer 3 sessions across multiple time zones:

🗓 Session 1: Friday, May 5 at 10am AEST; Thursday, May 4 at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT

🗓 Session 2: Friday, May 5 at 10:30am BST / 3pm IST / 7:30pm AEST

🗓 Session 3: Friday, May 5 at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST

Visit our Eventbrite page to see all 3 events and reserve a spot.

eventbrite.com/cc/ppp-aware...

During each 1-hour interactive session, facilitators with lived experience of PPP will lead a conversation about uniting our voices to change the conversation about pregnancy and postpartum psychosis.

Our 3 partner organizations will discuss their internationally accessible resources, and attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate to create a wider list of global resources.

All sessions will be presented in English -- we are not able to provide translation or captioning this year, but we hope to in the future.

*Please join us if:

- you are an individual who has experienced psychosis during the perinatal period (during pregnancy, birth, after loss, or postpartum)

- your loved one has experienced perinatal psychosis

- you have lost a loved one due to perinatal psychosis

These gatherings are not the right fit for those who do not have a personal experience of perinatal psychosis.

Any questions? Send us a message!

Hi Ellie. Will these be available to watch after they have been presented? I'm unable to make the sessions :(

Hi CloeJane, I am sorry they won't be recorded cause the events are supposed to be a 'safe space'. But we are planning more of these events and I am sure you will read about them if you follow this forum, and/or are signed up to the APP (app-network.org/) and PPP Awareness Day newsletters (pppawarenessday.org/). Pity you have to miss it....
