hello,

Can anyone recommend any books on postpartum psychosis? I’m finding reading through similar journeys really helpful.

Thanks

Hi Olanzapinelenny,

If you want to take a read through a great selection of first hand experiences and stories rather than a whole book, there's the Personal stories section of APP website app-network.org/news-events...

You may be familiar with this already but if not, it's a rich and eclectic library.

Sending my very warmest,

Anna

Hello Olanzapinelenny

I just wanted to add another page of APP’s website that might be helpful - app-network.org/news-events...

This includes some books as well as theatre, TV and poetry.

I agree it’s so helpful and powerful to read other stories about PP. I hope this is helpful.

Sending very best wishes,

Jenny x

“what have I done?” And Inferno are both great - see review here amp.theguardian.com/books/2... there is also one called “Rattled” written by Jen Wight, who I think has used this forum… goodreads.com/en/book/show/...

Also Elaine Hanzak’s books “Eyes without Sparkle” and “Another twinkle in the eye”

And finally if you’ve not read it the yellow wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman is an amazing short story and well worth a read (although quite unsettling, as all these books can be) gutenberg.org/ebooks/1952

Hope this is useful

Kat

Hi 👋 I know you asked for a book, but if you are ever in the mood for a film, I enjoyed Tully starring Charlize Theron
