Experiences of Sertraline and Venlafaxine please.

Does anyone have any experiences they can share about weaning off Sertraline or taking Venlafaxine please?

My Psychiatrist wants to wean me from 200mg then start me on Venlafaxine. I've heard there are side effects to weaning off Sertraline and obviously side effects to taking Venlafaxine but it would be helpful to hear from anyone who has taken them.

I've been taking sertraline for about 5 months now. I started off at 50mg for a week, then 75mg for 2 weeks and then 100mg. I am starting to come off it and my doctor has prescribed me 1 month of 75mg, then 1 month of 50mg. With the last 10 tablets he has said to take them every other day. But if I start to feel "bad" again they will up my dosage again.

I can't really answer your question but I can keep you updated on how I feel!
