hi everyone, has anyone who is on citalopram 20mg taken Fluconzole 15omg and had any bad interactions? any anwers very welcome. thank you

Both citalopram and fluconazole can cause arrythmmias of the hear known at torsades (caused by Qtc prolongation).

The risk of this effect from these medicines is very low and is NOT a reason to stop taking them. As the risk is so low if you are not taking other medicines, you are physically fit and well taking the combination should be fine.

If you have any concern then discuss it with your Dr or local pharmacist.
