BeatingAnxiety. My best advice is to see your dentist for a quick look. Thoughts of

what it could be are just as anxiety provoking as addressing a situation sooner than later.

Let us know when you set up that appointment. We'll help you through. :) xx

Sorry you’re feeling like this go to your gp book up the courage but I think it will literally be nothing don’t forget inside your mouth takes a lot longer to heal that normal because it’s a wet wound babes... rinse your mouth with listerine mouthwash for a few days if still no joy then get it looked at could just be a infected one

Hi, I have suffered with mouth ulcers that seemed to take ages to clear up. The mouth does take longer to heal like already mentioned. Mine have lasted ages too. For mine I use a mouth wash called corsodyl and I also find bonjela helps and the combination of both clears them up.

I can relate to your feelings. I too catastrophise anything to do with doctors. Dentists not so bad. I m not medically trained but know from experience that Re curing slow healing Mouth ulcers can be caused by so many things. I have had them for years..and the dentist thought it was something called lichen planus ( which it was...not at all sinister but needing a biopsy to confirm.. so don't panic if it is suggested) and the doctor thought I was coeliac...which also turned out to be true. My son again had them for years and it was an allergy to tree nuts..but both of us still get them usually when stressed, however careful we are..

Take a deep breath and make that appointment either with the doctor or dentist to start with. Word of warning ...the doctor may require a blood test.... I know something else to face!!! I am just the same!!!
