My mental health started to decline at that time. I have an autistic daughter who was very violent. I managed it well for many years. It caught up to me. Now I can work and have to me very intentional about managing my symptoms.

Am not in my 50 put I think am definitely going through perimenopause and am going to talk to my doctor this week about it this week because I can’t go through it next month

I went through menopause at age 50 and really didn't experience much other than feeling hot a few times of which I am thankful. I suggest speaking with your doctor if your symptoms become troublesome. I would think they have meds to help.

I started in my late forties, and am now in my mid sixties....the crazy hormones thing is still here, the sleepless nights, hair loss, weight gain, aches and pains.....and the mood swings...but old age and depression along with this is some cosmic bad joke on women that's for friggin sure.....
