Has anyone experienced muscle or joint pain ( especially in the knees) while taking warfarin?

Hi Ibruprofen is not recommended with warfarin

I read an article about Reactive Arthritis. There's a lot of information on the net about this. The article I read pretty much said that any medical problem, medication, stress, food allergies, etc. could cause an auto-immune type response of arthritis. Check some of those sites out. It makes sense after you read some of the articles.

I have noticed joint pain since l've been taking Warfarin, but l put it down to getting older. I only take Panadol for pain, but it's not always effective - l suppose it is best to get checked out by your GP.

Sorry I must admit I that the only problem i have with warfarin is just all those annoying clinic visits which are a waste of my time!

No side effects but I haven't been on it for that long yet!

Hi,Ive been on Metformin for 4 years and because my blood sugar went up to 8 I have now been prescribed Sitagliptin. No problems with the Metformin but the combination of the 2 has caused quite severe joint and muscle pain.Have not spoken to my G.P. yet as I feel I must give the Sitagliptin a chance but if things don't settle within the next month the pain will encourage me to seek advice.
