What sort of shelf life/ date should I expect on my PT test strips

Hi Dingles,Are we talking of the self testing, Coaguchek XS PT Test Strips.

Do you actually self test?

Yes I self test. The new box of strips only had a 3 month date.

Hi Dingles... Should be nearer to 12 months for the pack of 24 test strips. If on prescription, I would suggest you ask the pharmacy concerned (or surgery) to replace the 3 months use before date pack. TC

Thank you for your reply. It was questioned at the time of collection from pharmacy. I have followed this with a phone call and the item was replaced with a longer date. The pharmacy just threw the other one in the bin. Perhaps I should have kept them.
