I am on 20mg rivaroxiban daily and went to the pharmacy this morning to purchase some. The guy only had 10mg so I didn’t purchase. This might seem an illogical question, but is taking 2x 10mg the same in potency as 1 x 20mg ?

That's the kind of thing the pharmacist would know! But I would assume so. I've never had that issue - my pharmacist has once given me a different brand rather than the Xarelto I'm used to, but they have always ordered in the 20mg in good time. They even make themselves responsible for renewing my prescription with the GP, which is amazing!

Yes no problem each tablet contains the specified dose. I was taking 2 tablets 3 times a day of another drug and got the doc to change the prescription for 1 tablet (twice the dosage) 3 times a day. as the smaller dose ones were getting difficult to get when we had a shortage of some drugs in the UK a year or so ago.
