I have been considering taking probiotics as I have been on so many antibiotics so many times in the last 17yrs, is know my gut bacteria can’t have serviced un scathed. Has anyone else with APS taken probiotics? Does anyone know what the best ones would be for good digestive health. It seems to me the more times I needed antibiotics the more I gained weight. Could be a connection. As prior to antibiotics I had a great metabolism and didn’t really have to worry about my weight!
If you know something on this subject plz enlighten me!
Thank you, I Hope everyone is having a good day!

Yeah sorry, I must be a bit thick this morning ........... what is APS ?????
I've been on Warfarin continuously since Jan 2010 as part of my atrial fibrillation (AF) medication. Once I realised that an AF event was triggered by food I consulted a Nutritionist who prescribed me probiotics...... and other stuff regarding diet and food planning.
I have in recent months had to revist a Nutritionist and have again been prescribed probiotics........... amongst a heap of additional advice.
My advice is to consult a nutritionist ....... I'd never ever buy "off the shelf" probiotics from a health store.
APS is an auto immune disease that causes excessive coagulation of the blood causing, clots thru our Ur body including, strokes. PE, & DVT‘s. There are three types of blood clotting disorders that are part of APS. It means a lifetime on anticoagulants. It’s name is antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome aka Hughes Syndrome, aka sticky blood syndrome. I accidentally posted my question on the wrong portion of this app. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I hate having to take antibiotics from time to time. I rely on drinking Kafir and eating plenty of green leafy vegetables to get my microbiome back on track.
I am watching this thread as well as I am afraid to take anything that affects digestion. Does it affect the absorption or metabolism of the blood thinner?
