Raised itchy welts

I’ve been on riveroxaban for 18 months following a heart attack. In the past 2 months I’ve developed raised itchy welts on my chest. Doctor gave me steroid cream which took it down but once I stopped it returned. Is this a side effect of riveroxaban?

Going back to dr tomorrow.

I have had this on 3 occasions, on my rib cage, since starting Rivaroxiban. Really itchy, raised red rash. First time was when I first started taking it. Recently I have had it twice again, after gall bladder problem meant I had to fast for a week and then again just recently. I did wonder whether it was something to do with the liver detoxing and therefore more of the drug being absorbed/absorbed more quickly, as I also had a nose bleed which I used to get quite often when I first started on the drug.
