I broke a bone in my foot the other week and rather than put a pot on they put a black boot on! They did say that it was because of my DVT they couldn’t plaster it! Has anyone else come Across this? They did at one point say they may plaster the foot only! But didn’t. Thanks.

When my husband - who has not had any blood clotting issues so far as we know - broke a bone in his foot he was put in a boot after 48 hours. It's pretty normal, and preferable to plaster as you can take it off to have a shower.

Thanks I haven’t dared to take it off! I’ve got a seat in my shower and we put a plastic bag over it 😂 you’ve cheered me up though that it will be better, thanks
