It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hi I’m new here, totally overwhelmed by all my health issues. Struggling very much during this cold spell, breathless at all times, fatigued frustrated that I can’t get on and do this I want.

I can feel my old old enemy, depression around the corner, just waiting for an in.

How does anyone get the will to continue day by day.

Thank you, I’ve got up this morning and that what I intend to do, ‘Carry on Regardless’ . A good title for a film don’t you think.

I could have written that post! Do you have strategies to help you avoid an attack of depression? Try to get out in daylight every day, if only for 10 minutes, and plan for small things you can do, don't focus on what you can't! And if necessary, live one minute at a time!

After a serious bout of depression earlier this year, which of course impacted on my ability to manage the physical ailments. I started walking which helped.

I know the weather has changed, but I’m going to try my hardest not to use it to prevent me from getting out and not just giving up.

And yes, it not about what I can’t do, but what I can. Thank you for responding , I hope there is some comfort in knowing that there are others confronting similar issues daily.

try not to get overtired as that can make everything seem too difficult. You're doing well to walk- great all round help
