Do not stop any drug until you have spoken to a specialist especially as you have a pacemaker

I am on a high dose of flecanide pending ablation. On the high dose I have visual disturbances. I find it hard to focus especially in strong light and when coming in from the dark to a bright room I see multiple images. Like the delay on a camera lends. My optician says my eye is physically unaffected. It is something to do with delayed impulses to the nerves that tell the muscles to move when you need to focus I think. When I reduce the dose the symptoms go but the A.F. comes back! Hope this is helpful.by the way the disturbances start when my dose gets to 250mg a day. X
