I live in pain. Following DVT in 2009 and a couple ulcers, I'm now seeking help for aching, swollen, redden, dry hardened, ankle and leg. I dont really have a diagnosis yet, seen different specialists, last one being cardio -surgeon who added cellebrex to my list of meds. Been seen by pain mgt and on pain killers and pills. I have different pains, but even when taking meds it never goes away, especially the nerve pain. I.m almost 60 and work full time, and struggling. Any success stories and advice on handling pain/swelling and impact on work and quality of life?

Have you had a doppler test it is like blood pressure in your legs, shows up any problems with circulation are you a diabetic, only ask because of the ulcers

Their are pain killers for nerve pain. ,

Hope you manage to get some help

Have they tried lyrica or neurontin for th nerve pain? Also I've recently learned narcotics can cause pain to be worse sometimes. Think its called pain syndrome?
