Does anyone suffer from vestibular migraines?

Or anything else that makes you dizzy.

I don't know about vestibular, but I get silent migraines on a semi-regular basis. Wouldn't go as far as to say I suffer, but they are annoying.

I feel dizzy a lot. even when I am sat down doing nothing at all. I have low blood pressure, I put it down to that.

One nurse was amazed when she saw my pressure. "Do you feel dizzy???".

I just felt like I always did. Fatigued.

Sometimes I feel like I am on a ship in stormy seas. Only for a few seconds, then it is gone.

Shocking tinnitus as well. All manner of frequencies.

Thank you Monkeybus. I was asking on behalf of my daughter who is having a really bad time with dizziness and is having lots of tests including mri which hasn't shown anything.

Could be due to any number of things, couldn't it? Or a combination of.

Low blood sugar for me as well. If I haven't eaten, I am dizzy as hell. Is this normal? I don't know.

MRI is open to interpretation. My neurologist is simply looking for changes to my brain lesions. He blasts through it with plenty of "Well, it could be this, Maybe it is that.".

I have had a look myself at the DVD you can request, and it's layers and layers of detail. Then you look from a different angle and it all looks different.

Trouble with AMN is, even here you don't get many takers for many threads. So different are everyone's symptoms.

Hi Cherie, I was diagnosed with VM about a year ago after sudden onset of dizziness and a heavy headed brain fog feeling.. It doesn't go away, my bp is on the low side but not dangerously so. Have you found anything that helps as I've tried all the usual meds and exercises and nothing has worked to date.

I was asking on behalf of my daughter who is a carrier. These came on when she started ivf and have now been put down to hormonal changes. She has tried exercises which make her even more dizzy. She finds Propchlorperazine helps a bit.

I have spoken to my daughter and she saw a neurologist who has put her on Magmin twice a day, riboflavin 200g twice a day , antihistamine twice a day and CoQ10once a day. Propchlorperazine 1x twice a day, and Imigran a max of 3 times a week. She lives in Australia so yours might be called something different.
