Mom is being taken advantage of in her finances. Trying g to stop this anyway possible butom isn't understanding why she cannot go get cash from the bank if she wants. We have a financial POS, but her access is intact. Amy ideas?

I am not clear on what is happening. Please clarify "butom." Also, if her access is intact why can't she get cash? Is it because she doesn't know the password? Perhaps the best course of action for you is to avoid taking her near the bank and distract her by handing her some one dollar bills. As long as she can see people getting cash from the machine, she will realize that she should be able to do that. Also, you didn't say in what way is someone taking advantage of her financial situation? You will find good advice here.

I think what they meant with butom is 'but mom'. However I'm not clear as to what a POS is. I'm thinking that this poster must be from the UK and I'm just not familiar with that abbreviation. I also think I understood that mom 'can' get access to her money and that is where the problem lies. But the poster didn't explain how she was being taken advantage of with her finances. Hopefully they will explain a little more fully so that someone might be able to suggest some help.
