A question for PSP patients and/or their family/caregivers: Have you or your loved ones ever experienced what I call... brain zaps? The experience is like a low voltage shock... but not painful. It starts in the head and continues about halfway down the torso. It's not dizziness, but can sometimes precede a fall... but not always.
The next installment of The PSP Chronicles... this is where the real story begins:
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy- neurodegenerative disease... often referred to as Parkinson's evil twin, but much more aggressive with a prognosis from anywhere between 2-12 years. Affects everyone differently.
