Hi everyone!

I'm interested in having SMP but meanwhile I've been prescribed steroid cream, to use for a month, just in case it will kick start regrowth.

Is there any risk that use of steroid cream will affect my scalp's ability to tolerate SMP?

Also any hints and tips on SMP and practitioners would be very welcome too!

Thanks everyone!

I remember when my doctors gave me steroid cream and it didn't work. I think your doctor would know which treatments don't go together and you should talk with them. I remember when they used to give me shots in my scalp that made my hair grow back but it was more effective if I went to a low stress type of situation, such as a trip out of town where I got away from work.

There is no risk of steroid cream in the mouth will effect having scalp Micropigmentation. SMP helps people with all types of hair loss and Alopecia is no different, it gives people back their confidence as they now have the appropriate of a short cropped hair style.

To answer your question on practitioners ... do your research and ask for a no obligation consultation. Ask to see pictures of before/ after Alopecia treatments.
