Frontal fibrosing alopecia

Just joined this community and wondering if there are any others with this form of alopecia.

I have FFA and have had it for nearly 10 years although I wasn't diagnosed until 6 years ago. I have now very noticeable hair loss at the front and behind my ears and now wear a wig when I go out . I am in dundee Scotland

Yes, I have also been recently diagnosed, I am struggling to come to terms with this and how I will cope.

4 years down the line, as a result of quite extreme treatment, I have only lost about a 10p size area of hair. I didnt realise at the time that I would be taking medication all that time. Medication that does have side effects.
