Hi there, my name is zoe. I am 38 and diagnosed in my late 20's with fibro and severe me. I found a chiro near to my home. I was in a bad way, couldnt walk achiropractoro much pain. It hurt just to breath. I had tried my gp he gave me pain killers but they didnt even dull the pain a tiny bit. Anyway to cut a long story short I didnt get any form of relief from my gp. I found a chiropractor in my area and made appointment. Within 2 sessions I was able to stand up again and could walk slowly. So I went back for more treatments. On my 3rd or 4th session he referred me to a orthopaedic surgeon. It was in this appointment I was diagnosed with fibro and told that I had a couple of vertebrae fused together which was the result of a disease in my spine that took place as far back as before I was born.

I kept up my chiro appointments. I asked him why he reffered me to the orthopedic surgeon. He said that the way i was reacting to the treatments is why. My chiropractor and I worked well and before long my pain and mobilty reduced. The chiropractor was not a BCA chiro but he was a McTimoney chiro. This form of treatment is holistic and i have to say it is very very brilliant.

I would recommend it to anyone. Just search the McTimoney website for a chiro close to home.

They are highly qualified and have to study for or 5 years to gain the qualification plus it cost over £20,000 to sttend so basically im saying that every single person is dedicated.

If you have fibro or me u must go. Even if you have any muscoskeletal issue go find a McTimoney chiropractor not the BCA chiropractor. They work so differently but as I say they are holistic and if u have fibro I guarantee you will have pain in different places.

Good luck everyone.

if any of you wish to talk to me just reply and I will reply as soon as I can.

Zoe.
