It's very early days after your ablation. Not everyone is immediately AF-free for many months or even years -- including me.

It's been six and a half months since my ablation. I was in normal rhythm for the first three weeks after the op, then had an episode of fast AF that sent me to hospital, followed by wearing a two-week monitor that showed enough AF to put me back on the list for another ablation (there will be a long wait; I've not had it yet). Six months of bouncing in and out, in and out of AF. But I've been in NSR for around 30% of the time, which is better than being in persistent AF for more than a year, as I was before the ablation. Not enough to stop taking the drugs.

Things are still changing. This is my third week of NSR (with some short-lived overnight episodes that resolve themselves by the morning), for the first time since September.

Give it some time to settle down. Don't push yourself. Good luck.
