PACs several days this week

Hi, I was just going to post asking about PAC's. I have Afib, take metoprolol 25mg. I have been getting a lot of PACs this past week, but mine are not caused by anything in particular, they just happen. It scares the heck out of me! Have you talked to your Dr about this? I have an appointment with my cardiologist until May.
Hi, I found that drinking at least three pints of water throughout the day (not tea or coffee) reduced my daily PACs to a rare occurrence. It might be worth a try. Good luck.
Everyone gets PAC’s. I think if you get a lot of them, then you need to get it checked out, but they are common. I do get a few every day.
Hi. Out of interest how were your PACs diagnosed. I have been told these are etopic beats which everyone gets
Interesting what you put your episodes down to. At present I’m away from the UK and on holiday in New Zealand and I’ve had more episodes than usual, but they seem to last less time, i.e. two to three hours, instead of often four to eight hours. The difference being at the moment is the heat and I’m travelling longer distances in the car and drinking less water. Maybe it is the fluids that make the difference and your question has reminded me that I must take of plenty of water with me when I go out. Thanks.
I definitely go into a fib when I get dehydrated. I have to make myself drink water, even when I’m not thirsty. And I don’t drink anything but water. That seems to make a huge difference, especially if I’ve been out working in the sun. Best of luck to you.
