Update- Pacemaker and Mammogram

Not sure if this is the right way to do an update but here goes!

Thank you to everyone who replied to my earlier post and just to let you know the outcome..

The Pacemaker Clinic were very helpful and gave me an appt for that afternoon, tested my pacemaker and it was fine. It was suggested though that I saw my GP today. I was reluctant as felt there wasn’t really anything that they could do but rang this morning and was seen not by one of the pemanent GPs but a locum. She was really thorough and assured me I was wasting her time, which I really felt I was, checked BP. Pulse ,listened to my heart and lungs. She did detect a light heart murmur but did say she had a particularly sensitive stethoscope that picked up the faintest sounds. There was no mention of a murmur on my notes so she is emailing the cardiology consultant to see if he wants to refer me for an echo or see me in clinic. Very impressed that she is investigating this and glad I went to see her.

that is wonderful that you have such a great group taking care of you. If nothing else, it should calm you down because anxiety is not going to help you get better.
