hi everyone, wish you all a healthy New Year! As my bio says, I have both the above. In the last two days I get widely varying readings on my Medisana b/p monitor - and do not feel well. E.g., yest at 3pm 120/67 pulse 111; 117/67 pulse 120 a few minutes prior; this morning 71/46 pulse 136 and I’m pale and weak. Please, is this because of the angina or the Afib ? The squiggly line has NOT been showing on recent readings. Normally, or as normal as I get!, my pulse is around 60. I am aware that a pulse rate of 136 is not good! So I just took my b/p again I’m now 104/54 pulse 70 and the squiggly line is now showing. Still feel unwell. Thank you in advance.
If this goes on I will contact doctors Monday and TRY and get an appointment!

Sounds like your AF and do be warned that BP machines are seldom acurate if you are in AF. Best to check your pulse the old fashioned way . BP again best the old fashioned way with stethescope and blow up cuff.
Thank you very much Bob. I think you’re right cos I’m still in it - ( I mean an Afib episode.) I’ll try and check my own pulse as you advise. I’m ok as long as I simply don’t do anything except rest.
Checking your pulse is probably not very helpful but if you get a feeling like an ‘interior bearhug’ or a feeling of cramp in your throat, neck or arm as well as feeling unwell don’t hesitate to call 999 as you have already been diagnosed with angina ❤️🩹
Thank you Buttafly. I appreciate your description and know I must (reluctantly) dial 999. It is Afib I think, cos I don’t have even a tight chest. Just pale snd zonked. Thanks again, take care
