I no northing about heart problems and have developed one due to chances in my Thyroid Meds.
I have a normal Blood Pressure but have now got a heart rate of around 100 - 108 just sitting about.
I was prescribed Bisoprolol for it but after only a few days it affected my Thyroid Levels so I stopped it. I have no thyroid so need to retain my levels and this blocks it.
Has anyone any ideas please I am not at all knowledgeable about this and need help. Thank you.

Normal heart rate is btween 60 and 100 sos yours is not particulaarly high. That said you do need to discuss with your doctor as we are not medically trained here and must not advise.
If only I could I would but he is the person who has made me ill in the first place. I was a runner up until my sixties and always had a low BP and Heart Rate.
Mine is permanently at 98 to 108 now for the past eight months.
I will be able to return to the UK in the spring so will look for someone there. Thank you.
I agree with Bob, you need to discuss with your medics for a diagnosis and treatment plan, but knowledge is the key in my opinion so you are involved in any decisions on your treatment plan.
Here is a link to all the AFA patient resources for AFib patients if that is actually what you have heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...
When you say it is your doctor who made you ill do you mean your GP? Have you been referred to an endocrinologist for your thyroid problems? From what little you say I assume you have developed a fast heart rate or even afib from taking too much Levothyrox. Thyroid problems are not very well treated in the UK. Having lived in France for 23 years I would say that most of my medical treatment here has been better than any I ever got in my 49 years living in the UK.
I also live in France but four years ago moved to Brittany. It is the GP here now that has made the difference. Anyway, I now have the house back on the market and moving closer to Poitier Hospital. Not from taking too much Levo either.
Anyway, I am new to this and am planning my next move I may have to visit Lorient next to find out what to do next. I agree with you about treatment here in France it's usually great but I am unlucky here. Thank you for replying.
I developed a fast heart rate and afib from too much levothyroxine. I was taking it with coffee and learned that caffeine can affect the thyroid numbers. So when the test came back at 1.1 it was actually .4 so I cut down on the thyroid meds and my heart is perfect. I also don't take the levothyroxine before a blood test and fast for 12 hours. I stopped the beta blocker (bisoprolol) completely. I read that you can get afib at a thyroid level of .4 especially in older people.
