Does anyone else have difficulty contacting Dr Simon Modi EP at Liverpool HCH? He is my EP and I leave umpteen messages on his secretaries phone but get no reply. Pat

Call the hospital switchboard and asked to be connected to the head/director of the EP department. You won't get the director, but you will probably get someone who can make things happen.Then calmly explain that you're having difficulty getting in touch with your doctor. I've had to do similar more than once with an unresponsive secretary. Good luck,

Try writing to him and keep a copy. If you dont get a reply take your letter to the hospital patient liaison team. Alternatively write to him and copy the letter into patient liaison. Show on the letter you have copied them in. That should generate a response. Best wishes.

Maybe it's pointless, knowing the lack of communication there can be between various medical departments, but I would copy in my GP as well.
