Yes well within normal rate of 60 to 100. You need to be able to move and do things when your heart rate normally rises automatically. Notsure what type of PM you have but some have a demand function which speeds you up when required but this may well be off at present till you get used to it.

I'd prefer my rate to be higher than present 60 ish! Normal.range is up to 100. Xx

my pacemaker is set at manufacturers and EPs recommendation which is 60, but because I suspect af and tachy my pulse rate on my BP monitor always says 70 or 71

It could be that your EP is suggesting your pacemaker set higher because of pacemaker having too many alerts with your heart going too slowly

Perhaps have a conversation with your cardiologist or EP

My husbands PM was originally set at 80 but it was too fast for him and he kept getting stomach spasms

Again it’s for your doctor to decide

Mine is set to only 50 bpm.

[I had it fitted because bradycardia was making my pulse as low as 30 bpm.]
